I watched the opening sequence to the film ‘Night of the Living Dead’, as it started non-digetic music could be heard as the camera faded into a master shot. It showed a car driving down a country road. The music was eerie and the camera was hand held, it gives the impression the car was being watched. This also happened when the camera panned to follow the car.

The car then drove into a graveyard in the middle of no ware, this is a typical scene for a horror film as it symbolises death. The car stops and the characters talk innocently to one another, this shows they are oblivious to what is going to happen later on in the film. The radio then turns on and there is digetic sound, the reporter also shows something is not right. The creepy music then kicks back in to show something frightening and out of the ordinary is about to happen.
